Court Reporting includes the attendance of a Certified Court Reporter. A Certified Court Reporter is a member of a Court Reporter’s Association, having graduated from a Court Reporting College, attaining writing speeds of 200 plus words per minute through the use of a steno machine and specialized computer-aided software for Court Reporters.

The attendance of a Court Reporter is required for proceedings such as: Examinations for Discovery, Depositions, Civil Trials, Hearings, Meetings, Tribunals, Inquests, Seminars, Interviews, Symposiums, Mediations and Arbitrations.

Transcripts are prepared by the attending Court Reporter through the process of editing the rough translation into a finished certified transcript product. A tape or digital recorder is used to tape the proceedings, so the reporter can listen to the audio while editing the transcript to ensure accuracy.

With prior notice, a transcript of the proceedings can be expedited, within 24 hours, or same-day delivery, or within Royal’s regular turnaround time being a 2-week delivery or sooner.

Keyword Indexing is provided with every transcript showing an alphabetical list of key words in the transcript.

CDs or floppy disks in requested format are also provided with transcripts.

Condensed, 2 per page or 4 per page, can also be requested through the Court Reporter or office.

Audio/video taping can be provided with prior notice with arrangements to be made through Inland Audio and Video. Click here for Rental Equipment Information
